Many Ontario farms offer exciting on-farm activities, ranging from pick-your-own to agri-tainment (e.g. wagon rides, corn mazes, etc.). Coupled with the fact that many Ontarians are including local food in their diets and supporting Ontario farmers, it’s no wonder that more and more consumers are visiting Ontario farms for the fresh produce, family fun and unique experience.

Making the most of a pandemic year, FFO members are celebrated for their adaptability and persistence.

We all know 2020 will be a year we won’t soon forget. So many changes, pivots and adaptations happening all year through. The FFO Board decided that because it was such a different year for the direct farm marketing industry, they needed to come up with some different awards to recognize the members who went above and beyond what would be expected of them, not only for their own businesses but to help other members and to assist the industry as whole to survive this global pandemic.
